Top Metaverse and Web3 platforms have announced the creation of the Open Metaverse Alliance for Web3 (OMA3). This alliance should solve the problem of compatibility and become a platform for new startups.
So, the alliance includes brands such as:
- Alien Worlds;
- Animoca Brands;
- Dapper Labs;
- Space;
- Superworld;
- The Sandbox;
- Upland;
- Voxels.
The basis of their work will be 4 principles – transparency, inclusiveness, decentralization and democratization.
OMA3 is formed on the principle of DAO – that is, with a decentralized management system. And they already have the first list of tasks ready. They will start to develop common standards for NFT, to make it easier for players to go through identification between different metaverses.
Alliance members will also join the Metaverse Standards Forum, a newly created organization that coordinates and implements standards in the Metaverse field.
