Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, The Sandbox and Autograph are creating a project for skaters, crypto enthusiasts and gamers from around the world. It will be the largest virtual skate park ever built:

We know that Tony Hawk LAND will get 36 plots in The Sandbox – and that’s a very large area indeed.
What to do in a virtual skate park
Visitors to the metaverse will create their own skate areas, buy skateboards, clothes and equipment for their avatars. All virtual items will be sold as NFTs from the Autograph platform.
Tony Hawk has already got his avatar. Now he is preparing to introduce a digital version of the skateboard on which the athlete won the X-Games competition in 1999.
The most famous skateboarder already has experience with crypto. In April of this year, Hawk unveiled his NFT “Last Trick” collection. The athlete says he has loved modern technology since childhood, so he’s excited about metaverses and blockchain games.
