Recall that yesterday, June 21, Vitalik Buterin criticized the Stock-to-Flow model from analyst PlanB. The expert did not leave his “tweet” without attention, urging the community to “remember those who blamed others during the fall.”
The conflict between Buterin and PlanB is gradually escalating. Earlier, the creator of Ethereum accused him that the S2F model did not meet expectations. According to Buterin, such failures should not only be highlighted, but also condemned.
In turn, the author of the model did not ignore the criticism, publishing the following statement:
“After a failure, many people are looking for a scapegoat to blame for a failed project or an erroneous investment strategy. The victims of this “game” are not only the newcomers in the industry, but also the so-called leaders. Remember the one who began to blame others amid the crisis, and the one who showed resilience.
He later elaborated:
“I distribute my analyses and forecasts completely free of charge. I never told anyone to invest in anything. And now, against the backdrop of Covid-19, the war in Ukraine, the blockades in China and inflation, due to which absolutely all assets “sagged,” somehow viners blame me for their failures? Shameful.”
Earlier, PlanB said his model worked well up until March of this year. Now he sees only one option for S2F to remain relevant – a sharp jump in the BTC exchange rate.
