Mixed fights organizer UFC has announced an agreement with the VeChain platform. The firm’s logo will first appear above the octagon for the UFC 275: Teixeira vs Prochazka tour, scheduled for June 11.
VeChain rounds out the four “crypto sponsors” of the UFC, which also include Socios, Crypto.com and Dapper Labs. According to unconfirmed reports, the agreement is for five years and the amount is about $100 million.
“VeChain is a global leader in blockchain technology, and we are pleased to welcome this company as our official advertising sponsor,” the press release said.
Among other things, VeChain is responsible for promoting the UFC brand as well as individual fighters on cryptocurrencies. The company also received the right to display the logo during the presentation of the contestants.
